Tapioca
starch is normally packed for export in the 50 kilo polypropylene
bags with an inner polyethylene liner. Alternatively, it can also be packed
in net 100 lbs. 6 ply multiwall-paper bags. Other than these, shipments
to the U.S.A. and Japan are sometimes required in bulk packing of 500
kgs. in the so-called jumbo bags under a special arrangement.

Tapioca
starch is a white and fine powdery material derived by wet-extraction
from the pulped roots of tapioca tubers. The uses of tapioca starch
are many as well as for substitution to potato and corn starch in
various fields of production such as glucose/dextrose syrup and all
kinds of modified starch. |
